In this fast-paced world, wherever we go, we will see a lot of competition. And many times we think we are not good as others are, or we start finding faults in ourselves. Which is not a healthy thing to think about! Many people are undergoing depression and stress because of low self-esteem. So to overcome all these things we need to do a few things and also need to understand life from a different perspective.
Know that everything here is temporary!
If we take a close look at everything around us, we will notice that everything is going to die or expire at some point time, if not now then later. Things we purchase have an expiry date on them, our feelings are temporary, one moment we feel very happy, and at another moment we feel sad or anxious or angry. Thoughts are temporary, So like this, our life is also temporary. One day we all are going to die. This doesn't mean that we should not do anything and just sit and enjoy it or be sad. No!
Before we die let's not just sit and be sad about things you don't have, and others have! Search for your own talent, stop looking at others, focus on yourself!
Just imagine you are walking on the road, looking at someone else and walking, then what will happen? You might collide with something or else you will fall down or meet an accident. The same thing happens when we compare ourselves with others. If your sight is stuck on the other, it's never on yourself, you are bound to be weak. We are different individuals, they are different, your whole life is different from theirs, so how can you do the same thing as them?
If someone is successful in something, that is because they are blessed with that talent, and also they work very hard for that, also they are working very smartly. You too focus on your talent, and work hard and smart, keep your focus on yourself!
To make this more relevant, I will give you an example of TRAINS JOURNEY.
Life is like a journey on a train. Goals are like the destination. So one should have a goal in life, in order to move ahead, without any goal life gets stagnated. To reach that destination you have to get on the train. Which train you want to board depends on you, slow train if lazy, procrastinator, and fast train if hard-working and smart at the same time. But many times even though the train is fast, you may reach your destination after a slow train, because of some technical issues or problems during the journey. In life as well, it can be because of our luck, problems in life, etc. that delays our success or delay in getting towards our goal. In our journey, we meet different kinds of people with different behavior and a different attitude. Same in life as well, we will meet different types of people, who may support us or not. Some people may make us feel happy, others may not, they might even irritate us! But we should keep going. Anyhow, we will reach our destination. However fast or slow we will reach our destination! Once we reach our destination we will stay there for some time enjoy it and then again, we have to reach some other destination. In life, you will have another goal.
Life goes on like this, your train, destination everything is different from others. So tell me if you are boarding the train from Delhi to reach Bombay then how can you reach Kolkata?? It doesn't make any sense to expect your destination to be Kolkata when you have boarded a Mumbai train. Someone else is reaching Kolkata because they boarded that train, their destination is that, your destination is different!
JUST A LITTLE SHIFT IS NEEDED IN OUR MIND, CHANGE THE WAY YOU LOOK AT YOUR LIFE AND OTHERS LIFE!
Once we start thinking in this way, then we won't be sad about ourselves anymore, or jealous of anyone around us!
